You use the term worker-civil servants. Why this double identity?

“There are a lot of preconceived ideas, both about civil servants and workers. I found it interesting to think about the two prisms by observing the employment conditions of college service staff. Their titles have evolved from specialist service agents to technicians, workers and service workers; then they were renamed technical and territorial assistants, where, before, we found very varied professions: divers, housekeepers, janitor helpers… These requalifications provide information on the way in which tasks are institutionally treated which, in fact, do not change.
