Israeli attacks kill 17 Palestinians on day 1 of 2025

At least seventeen Palestinians were killed Wednesday in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on the first day of 2025, according to medical sources.

An Israeli drone bombed a house in the Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, killing a woman and a child and injuring several people, the source said.

Israeli artillery also shelled the eastern and northern parts of the Al-Bureij and Nuseirat camps, but no information on casualties has yet been released.

Fifteen people also lost their lives and several others were injured, including children, in an airstrike targeting a house in the town of Jabalia, in the north of the enclave, another medical source said.
