on which channel to watch the rally-raid?

D-2 before the start of the 2025 edition of the Dakar in Saudi Arabia. Before serious things begin for Sébastien Loeb and his competitors for the final victory, here is a short guide to follow the event as closely as possible.

As you can imagine, following an event as long as the Dakar live is almost impossible. Significant human and technical resources would be required, if only to follow the favorites to victory in the car and motorcycle categories. To follow the highlights of the stages each day, you must therefore rely on the images from the broadcaster. This year for , it is the L’Équipe channel which owns the broadcast rights. Each stage will be entitled to three highlights during the day.

The Dakar 2025 on television

On the L’Équipe channel

  1. First dedicated meeting of the day will be at 11:50 a.m. live with journalists Messaoud Benterki, France Pierron and Mylène Dorange in Saudi Arabia. They will cover the finish of the stages and offer a multitude of reactions.
  2. Second highlight of the day with “Le journal du Dakar”. It will be at 6:10 p.m. with a short format (five minutes) which will review the stage of the day and the challenges of the stages to come.
  3. Last meeting of the day: “The big summary”. It will be broadcast from 8:05 p.m. to 9 p.m. He will review all the strong images of the day for each category and offer all the reactions. A sort of catch-up session.

On Eurosport and Eurosport 2

  • From January 3 to 11, Eurosport will offer a 52-minute summary of the best moments of the day at 9 p.m.
  • From January 12 to 17, this event switches to Eurosport 2, still at 9 p.m.

On France Télévisions

  • See you on France 3 every evening in Tout le sport at 7:50 p.m. from Monday to Saturday and in the show Stade 2 on Sunday from 8:05 p.m. to 9:05 p.m.
