Maserati celebrates 110 years internationally

The car manufacturer Maserati marked its 110th anniversary in December 2024 with a series of international events. Of Modenacradle of the brand in Italyhas Tokyo, Miami, Shanghai et Seoulthese celebrations highlighted the history and future ambitions of the House of Trident.

Between vehicle parades, launches of new models and prestigious galas, Maserati has mobilized its customers and enthusiasts around the world. In parallel, Maserati Japan celebrated this anniversary with a big parade at Tokyo. This event, organized at Prince Hotelbrought together 110 vehicles from the brand for a convoy journey through the city and its surroundings. The finale was marked by fireworks, symbolizing both the history and modernity of the manufacturer.

Exclusive models revealed during the celebrations

At the heart of the festivities organized for its 110th anniversary, Maserati took the opportunity to unveil two exclusive models which illustrate both its heritage and its ambitions for the future. There Maserati GT2 Stradalefrom the competition model Maserati GT2represents a road version which combines a bold design and high-level technical performance. This variation, marked by clean lines and technology inspired by competition, highlights the brand’s ability to combine sportiness and innovation.

For its part, the GranTurismo 110 Anniversario was presented as a special limited edition series, produced in only 110 copies. Designed to pay homage to the history of the Trident, this exclusive version embodies a symbolic link between the past, present and future of the brand. It combines refined design and modern technological advances, reflecting Maserati’s commitment to perpetuating its identity while looking to the future.

These two models are part of a broader strategy for the brand, which consists of offering unique vehicles with strong symbolic value. At the same time, Maserati is continuing its plan toelectrification ambitious, aiming to make its entire range available in electric version by 2025, with the final objective of a complete transition to electric by 2028. Models such as the GranTurismo Folgore or even the SUV Grecale Folgore already embody this desire to adapt to environmental issues and growing consumer expectations.

A birthday under the international sign

The manufacturer also marked its anniversary in other regions of the world, each with a specific approach. In Seoul, a reception was held at the residence of the Italian ambassador, bringing together media and dealers for an event focused on the history and new developments of Maserati. HAS Miamian exhibition organized as part of the Miami Design Week presented iconic models, such as the MC20 Sky and the GranTurismo Folgoreto a high-end clientele. In Chinewhere Maserati is also celebrating 20 years of presence, the cities of Shanghai and Beijing hosted events combining urban parades and visual spectacles. These gatherings aimed to strengthen the brand’s visibility in a key market, while celebrating its double anniversary.

Between tradition and innovation

If Maserati focused on its heritage during these celebrations, the brand is also working to build its future. With a range made up of thermal, hybrid and electric models, the company intends to meet the expectations of a rapidly changing international clientele. By 2025, each model will be available in an electric version, a transformation which highlights the environmental issues and the modernization imperatives of the industry.
