After thirty years in the nightlife industry, Bob Sinclar, whose real name is Christophe Le Friant, is still in brilliant shape. His secret? Impeccable lifestyle.
At 55, the DJ scrupulously takes care to preserve his health. “I am neither Jean Roch, nor Cathy Guetta, nor David Guetta. I have never been a nightclub owner. I am not a night owl, but an artist who plays at night. It’s not the same thing,” explained the artist behind the hit “Love Generation” to “La Tribune Dimanche” on December 29. “I don’t smoke, I don’t drink, I’ve never touched drugs. I have always practiced sport and maintained an impeccable lifestyle. In the 1990s, drinking and doing drugs was considered cool. But I was never part of those clans.”
The founder of Yellow Productions has also managed to distance himself from the “artificial paradises” of the industry by maintaining a certain humility. “From my first entry into a club, I fell in love with the profession of DJ. This passion allowed me to get away from all these artificial paradises, he explained. And since I never felt like I had talent, it helped me keep a certain distance from this environment.
