The actions of the City and the Saint-Raphaël casino for the most deprived

It's a great action of solidarity… The municipality of Saint-Raphaël, via the Municipal Social Action Center (CCAS), offers a ''night stop'' in clean, heated and equipped premises made available for people in great precariousness.

The operation, which began on December 16 and will continue until March 16, was entrusted this year to the association ''En Chemin'', specialized in social support.

The project, financially supported by Estérel-Côte d'Azur Agglomération, makes it possible to respond to emergency needs linked to the ''Great Cold'' plan.

“A symbol of support and generosity”

A loyal partner from the start, the Barrière casino generously offered the beneficiaries a festive meal. For the occasion, Hervé Courroux, director of the casino, his team, Yolande Lopez, deputy mayor responsible for social action, Mr. Giordano, director of the CCAS, Mme Mouradi, deputy director of CCAS, and Mme Ivaldi, regional director of the association ''En Chemin'', went to deliver the meals and took the opportunity to talk with some poor people.

“A huge thank you to the Barrière Casino for its participation. It is a strong symbol of support and generosity. This gesture demonstrates the active solidarity that exists in our territory, where everyone contributes in their own way to improving the daily lives of the most deprived. Thank you also to all the actors and partners who make this system possible. Together, we are making a difference.”indicated Yolande Lopez.

For information, the ''Night Stop'' is located in the former premises of the CLJ, Veillat beach. The SDS (Stable Homeless) can come every day from 6 p.m. and benefit from sanitary facilities, a hot meal and of course a warm bed.
