Google Pixel owners are experiencing connectivity issues after installing the latest software update, whether they are older models or the latest Pixel 9.
The December security update wreaked havoc on Pixel phones. Mobile connectivity issues are being reported through multiple channels. Phones completely lose connectivity, although calls continue to work. It’s unclear how widespread the issue is, but it affects both older Pixel models and the latest Pixel 9 Pro.

There are two ways to solve the problem. The first is to reset the mobile network settings. The saved Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth devices are then erased and therefore need to be reset. If that’s not enough, you can turn off 4G/VoLTE calls.
Google hasn’t responded to the issue yet, so a fix doesn’t seem imminent. Pixel phones recently upgraded to Android 15, and its successor Android 16 is already in the works. Find out if your phone is eligible for the latest version here.
