The Christmas of the Italians of Australia: between traditions, solidarity and firsts

On Christmas Eve we asked our listeners to tell us what they will put on the table, perhaps also revealing what they hope to find under the tree.

“I will celebrate at home by preparing the zeppole and then I will go to mass with my daughters. At Christmas we will eat out because they want me to rest, even if, in reality, I have already prepared the dessert” Rosetta tells us, explaining that it is her habit to prepare lots of food to then donate to those most in need.
