The fourth day of the return round, without the match between Battipaglia and Dinamo Taranto, postponed until January 23, 2025, did not produce any upheavals in the rankings due to the expected results from the pitches. In Castellammare di Stabia, Catanzaro, as expected, had no difficulty in overcoming the Neapolitan team of the new coach Castaldo, still looking for his first satisfaction at the helm of the Stabia team. Success which also certifies the dominance in group B, for the Calabrians, expected in the second phase of a play-off group which could see them as protagonists, for a tail end of the current season still to be experienced in one breath. Behind the Calabrians, as mentioned, the progression of Marigliano continues, having reached its fourth consecutive victory, which has regulated, on its own pitch, Campobasso, orphaned of its spearheads, involved with the A1 series, but which has tried to give the a hard time for the Neapolitan team. Indisputable result and continuous race, as a team chasing the leaders, towards the play off group, waiting to compete with high-level opponents to test the progress made in the last month of the regular season.

Group A, in the last round, confirmed the heated duel for the top of the table between the surprising Angri and the big Potenza, between two teams, confidently promoted to the play-off group, but capable in their matches of imposing their game, annihilating their opponents. The most awaited match of the day was that of Cercola, where Potenza, having emerged from the critical phase of the season, faced the home team, in search of two useful points to avoid losing contact with Angri from Salerno. The resistance of the Neapolitans for a good half of the match was not enough to stop the progress of the Lucanians who in the second half of the match, by imposing a more constant rhythm, dug an important gap, maintaining it until the end, with a +23 of ample guarantee (81 – 58). Point-to-point battle, the one enjoyed at Pala Carrassi, where coach Palagiano's Bari faced Morra's Angri, an edgy, experienced team with good quality, arriving on the shores of the Adriatic strong in their position in the standings, supported by five victories consecutive. In the final rush, despite the push brought by the red and white crowd, Angri maintained the advantage accumulated during the match and the hosts could only reduce it to the final seven points, with regret for a defeat that probably could have turned into a success, to be counted as an important result for the continuation of the regular season. In Ariano Irpino, in the other match of the day, Bellizzi's team, struggling with a rather difficult season due to the continuity of results, faced a fluctuating Trani that the new technical guide Paolillo Delli Carri is trying to ferry, possibly towards the group Gold, synonymous with playoffs. Good performance from the Trani players who unfortunately in the final part of the match, fought for three quarters, were unable to close the gap and, in the 40th minute, the scoreboard mercilessly showed the defeat by six points (60 – 66), postponing the appointment with victory on the next occasion, but the ranking remained unchanged with a pile-up from 4th to 6th place, between three teams vying for a position in the play-off group.
