Michael Kayode can leave Fiorentina in January. This is mainly for two reasons: the Viola have understood that they have an important asset in their hands which could depreciate further with another six months of stoppage, plus there is the player's desire to be a protagonist for the next six months. In January it is difficult to arrive at a permanent transfer, so the intention would be to loan him out – expensive – and then raise the right to buy as much as possible. Because Fiorentina wouldn't want to deprive him completely, but it's also difficult to retain a similar profile without letting him play.
How much can it be worth? Around 18-20 million. Also because for Fiorentina it would be a clear capital gain, given that he is a product of their youth sector. For Kayode there is not even a preclusion towards foreign countries, with some interests from the Premier League which could lead to a farewell to Serie A.
In recent days Michael Kayode had spoken after winning the Best Italian Golden Boy: “The real step is to have perseverance, difficult moments can come but you have to know how to face them. What would I say to a boy who looks at me today? Believe in your desires, work at your best because everything is possible. This award also gives me further desire to improve, to continue moving forward with more hunger. The objective now is to do the best possible with Fiorentina.” A word also on the Under21s who will play in the European Championship: “We are very aware of our strength, we look at match after match, we don't have an easy group and we are clearly trying to do our best”.
