Official, Sergio Pérez leaves Red Bull. The Mexican’s greeting

After four seasons Sergio Pérez leaves the Milton Keynes team

The official announcement has arrived, at least on the Sergio Pérez side. The Mexican published a statement saying goodbye to Red Bull, the team with which he raced for the last four seasons, which we report in full.

“After four incredible seasons together, Red Bull and Sergio Pérez have reached an agreement to part ways. During this period Checo played a key role in securing podium victories and two constructors’ championships, contributing to the team’s most successful era in Formula 1.”

“I am grateful for the last four years with Red Bull Racing and the opportunity to race with this incredible team. Driving for Red Bull was an unforgettable experience, and I will always remember the successes we had together. We’ve shattered records, achieved incredible goals, and I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many amazing people along this journey.

A big thank you goes to every person in the team from management to engineers to mechanics. And then catering, hospitality, cooking, marketing and communications, as well as all the people in Milton Keynes. I wish you the best for the future.

It was also an honor to race as Max’s companion over these years and share our successes with him. A special thank you goes to the fans around the world and especially to the Mexicans for their incredible daily support. We’ll see you again soon and remember, never give up!”
