Mangas, video games… The Japan Tour in celebration is a concentrate of Japanese culture. The event will return tomorrow, Wednesday, at the Vierzon convention center.
All day long, from 10 a.m., numerous activities will be on the program, offered by the Municipal Youth Space, in partnership with several of its local partners. There will be something for all sensibilities: drawing workshops, introductions to calligraphy, traditional games, a video game tournament, retro video games… Also on the menu, a parade and a competition cosplay. Explanation for beginners: this practice consists of taking on the appearance of a manga, science fiction or video game character.
The event is free and open to all
The Japan Tour en fête will be open to all, as usual, and participation will be free. “It’s an event which has been a great success,” rejoices Maryvonne Roux, deputy mayor of Vierzon, youth delegate. There were one thousand six hundred entries during the previous edition, in December 2023. It is now a highly anticipated event! » In December 2022, the event had already attracted nearly one thousand three hundred people.
