Forty years after its entry into service, with its replacement by the PC-21 in training missions, the days of the AlphaJet under the tricolor roundels seem numbered. The Patrouille de France will soon be the last user of the small jet. But for how much longer?
JumpSeat opens the debate with Colonel Romain Bethoux. Former leader of the Patrouille de France and former commander of the Fighter Aviation School, currently deputy director of outreach at CESA (Center for Strategic Aerospace Studies), Colonel Bethoux knows the Alphajet particularly well and the use that was made within the Air and Space Force. With him we will discuss the plane, its history, its current use and its future!
