– A retiree hits the jackpot: 20,000 euros per month for 30 years

20,000 euros per month for thirty years. The jackpot is a dream. For a retiree from Somain (North), reality has caught up with fiction. This EuroDreams game regular had the pleasant surprise of win the jackpot of 7.2 million euros in total, reports Bleu. After checking the numbers, the winner went to his tobacconist on November 21 to declare his winnings to the FDJ. Even with its jackpot, he continues to come and play the same game regularly. In Somain, attendance at the tobacconist has increased since the announcement of the lucky winner. In 2018, a player won the My Million draw.

EuroDreams is the first European annuity game. To set it up, the FDJ joined forces with eight other European lotteries from the Euromillions community. For this game offered at a price of 2.50 euros, players must check six correct numbers out of forty, as well as one additional number out of five, called Dream. The winner therefore wins in several installments the sum of 7.2 million euros, or 20,000 euros per month for thirty years. Other combinations also allow you to win. If six winning numbers are drawn but without the Dream number, the winner still wins a pension of 2,000 euros per month for five years. That’s a gain of 120,000 euros.
