Garmin has just delivered a new update for the Fenix 8 (currently $999.99 on Amazon), which is also rolling out to the Enduro 3 and Fenix E models. Please note that the new version has arrived on the stable software distribution channel of Garmin rather than through its beta program.
So, system software 12.35 should contain fewer bugs than recent beta versions. That being said, Garmin has just rolled out a new update for the Fenix 7 and Fenix 7 Pro smartwatches that fixes errors from a previous stable version.
Likewise, system software 12.35 for the Enduro 3, Fenix E, and Fenix 8 primarily serves to resolve bugs that existed in the previous software. For example, alarms no longer need to be set to silent after migrating settings from a Fenix 7 family smartwatch.
Additionally, Garmin says it has fixed issues that prevented CIQ watch faces from displaying correctly after a device reset. Additionally, System Software 12.35 should not contain missing tones for phone call alerts.
Additionally, the new update limits Garmin’s workout run score to running and cycling workouts. Additionally, Garmin has improved the user interface for searching for sensors by placing sensors in pairing mode at the top of the search list.
