Two hours before, around 6 p.m., Inès left the house claiming to have to collect documents related to an internship she was doing. The teenager will never give any sign of life again. The next day, Inès' mother and her older sister mention the Snapchat profile of a teenager with whom Inès had been talking for a few days.
After their first exchanges behind their smartphone, the teenager arranges to meet him on Friday evening, at the bus stop, near the town dojo.
Identified and heard as a witness on Saturday at 7:50 p.m. on the disappearance of Inès, he was quickly placed in police custody by investigators from the interdepartmental directorate of the national police (DIPN 87) to whom the investigation was carried out. been entrusted.
He plays football the day after the incident
“The accused quickly admitted to being involved in the death of Inès,” explained the prosecutor. He admitted to meeting her on Friday at a bus stop, before explaining to investigators that he had intended to steal her phone. To attract her, he pretended to want to give her a gift from a friend. Before taking her “to a nearby wood” while holding a jewelry box, and a knife in his pocket “to intimidate her”, according to him.
There, this teenager, according to the prosecutor, tries to steal the phone, she struggles and tries to call her sister for help. Panicked, he gave her, “for fear that she would raise the alarm”, around forty stab wounds to the neck, under the left breast, and in the back, “some of which were deep”.
He flees, throws Inès' phone in a cellar and returns home. According to our information, the day after the events, Saturday afternoon, the teenager joined his football team to play a match.
“I saw him, he was like usual, not angry or tense. He's a hard-working kid, a little sanguine on the pitch, but who has never been talked about,” testifies the president of the club, “astonished and surprised” by the acts committed by the young man.

At the scene, a jewelry box was found, as well as a kitchen knife behind a rock near the girl's body.
The autopsy on Inès' body will take place Tuesday morning in order to “determine with certainty the cause of death,” said the prosecutor. This Monday afternoon, a judicial investigation was opened for “robbery with violence resulting in death”.
The teenager was presented before the investigating magistrate yesterday at the end of the day, and the prosecution requested his placement in pre-trial detention.
The family, who “does not wish to speak”, has already indicated that they do not want a white march. A fundraiser for “the organization of his funeral” was launched on Sunday. €8,000 was raised.
