When firefighters arrived, the fire, which started in the garage – apparently from a fryer – quickly spread to the rest of the home. Thanks to their efforts, the thirty firefighters mobilized limited the fire to this home, and ensured that it did not spread to neighboring homes.
The two occupants of the damaged house were relocated by their families.
