“Someone helpful, courageous”, the emotion of the friends of one of the victims

In Loon-Plage, in the North, near the motocross circuit, where Marc volunteered once a year for the Ronde des Sables, a motocross competition which had just taken place at the end of October, some of his acquaintances were upset by the new.

It was while leaving a motorcycle club meeting that Franck learned of Marc's death. They had known each other through their common passion, motocross, for around ten years.

“I feel sorry for his family. I know he had two little girls to live with now. I tried to create a little family of crossmen and he was part of it,” he assures.

A professional dispute at the origin of the shooting?

Frank spoke with the victim's twin brother, who was devastated. And he himself is very moved. He remembers a person always ready to help others. “He was a helpful, courageous person who did his job. I'm really touched today because doing a job like he did, putting yourself forward like that with the risks, it's really sad,” he laments.

Among the avenues considered by investigators, “a professional dispute between the suspect and some of his victims”. Raphaël, too, knew Marc well. He is secretary of the Motoclub du Littoral, to which the victim belonged.

“We have no choice but to live with it. We think of all the good times we were able to spend with him. We don’t realize that he might no longer be there,” he confides.

The Motoclub du Littoral plans to soon organize a tribute to Marc. A minute of silence so as not to forget it.
