The clothing brand Kith has already collaborated twice in the past with BMW by reimagining brand vehicles. This time it's the American fashion designer Ronnie Fieg who underwent this exercise and not with just any car since it is a M1 from 1981 which has been completely restored and brought up to date.
Incredible color
The sports car was completely repainted in a color that it never adopted at the time: Techno Violet is a shade adopted by the M3 E36 which is always in the color chart of the Current M3. BMW Motorsport also developed a specific badge for Kith based on its own monogram.

Personalized leather
The passenger compartment has also been completely revised with the use of a black merino leather from the catalog BMW Individual. The center of the seats and door panels are inlaid with the Kith logo while soft leather covers the dashboardthe flyingthe central consolethe bellows et gear lever knob. With this treatment, the interior of the M1 is noticeably rejuvenated and appears much less austere than originally.
262 km/h peak
The mechanics of this car remain original: it is a 6 cylinders in line of 3.5 liters, developing 277 hp and 330 Nm. With its cylinder head four valves per cylinder and his mechanical injectionthis block allowed the M1 to reach 262 km/h at peak. This car reviewed by Ronnie Fieg will be exhibited at a BMW event organized in Miami on December 6, alongside his personal collection of customs from the Bavarian brand.
