“I am in direct contact with educators”, Jean-Michel Aulas helps Éveil de Lyon

Jean-Michel Aulas remains influential in the Lyon football landscape. A year and a half after leaving Olympique Lyonnais, the 75-year-old leader comes to the aid of the Awakening of Lyon as he explains in the columns of Ouest-France. A club where his new partner's children play in particular: “I serve as an instigator, a guide and I participate in the life of the club. I spend there every Saturday morning, whether with the volunteers at the refreshment bar, the educators or the president I am a fan of amateur football. It allows me to rediscover this football, a bit in the spirit of OL when I arrived in 1987, when professional football was much less developed. .I'm in touch directly with the educators, the president, the volunteers… L'Éveil de Lyon still has 1,200 members and that allows me to get to know amateur football through operational aspects, which was not the case.

The FFF election in sight

Jean-Michel Aulas, number two on Philippe Diallo's list for the presidency of the French Football Federation (FFF), retains an influential role in French football. The former president of Olympique Lyonnais also works for the development of women's football. For several months, he has been at the head of the Women's Professional Football League (LFFP).
