Lyon striker Georges Mikautadze was robbed at his home located in the Lyon region, along with his partner, during the night from Sunday to Monday.
The events occurred at his home in Chassieu, in the Rhône, indicates News17.
The couple was the victim of an armed robbery around 2 a.m., whilehe was returning from the match he played against OGC Nice. A match that his team actually won.
According to News17the thugs wore balaclavas and threatened the player with a handgun before breaking into his home with him. Inside, they sequestered the couple, threatening them with a weapon. While one held the couple in thrall, the other robbed them of luxury watches and designer bags.
The loot is very substantial, according to our colleagues. The robbers took the tengeante with loot estimated at 150,000 euros.
In a post published on X, the player assures that after the event occurred, he “is doing well and suffered no physical harm”. He also thanks his supporters and “Make an appointment very soon.”
