The Book “Plestin-les-Grèves from yesterday to today” on pre-sale

Where does the name Plestin come from? Did I have an ancestor among the schoolchildren photographed in 1912? When was the Toul An Héry bridge built? Who were the mayors of the municipality? So many answers to these questions and many others can be found in the brand new 160-page book, embellished with 200 photos, concocted by two Plestinais passionate about history, Cyrille L'Hénoret and Jean-Yves Le Gallou. This book, launched in 2021 after extensive research and meticulous work, should allow “future readers to discover the diversity of local heritage by going back in time through the main eras,” recalled the two authors. “It’s a project that is close to our hearts and we hope that as many people as possible will like it.”

Through this work, they wish to whet the curiosity of readers to discover certain aspects of Plestine heritage.

This book is now available for pre-sale (€24) until February 1, 2025. The book will then cost €26 during the draw and will be available for collection at Ti an Holl, on April 19 or 20, 2025, when it is launched with dedications or from Cyrille L’Hénoret.
