“49.3, censorship, orders… How to escape a without a budget?”

TRIBUNE – While several options are on the table to allow the government to adopt the 2025 budget, the time has come for responsibility for all political parties, believes the former secretary general of the Constitutional Council.

At the time of writing, the question is no longer whether the government will be censored before the end of the year, but on what occasion: social security financing law (LFSS) or finance law ?

It can be as early as this week. The Senate adopted the LFSS project on November 26. A joint committee, meeting the next day, reached an agreement. The left announced that it would table a motion of censure. The RN could vote for it because it does not see its “red lines” (notably the full indexation of pensions to inflation) sufficiently taken into account.
