At least four people were killed and 21 injured in a Russian missile strike near Dnipro in east-central Ukraine on Saturday, authorities said. “A rescue operation is underway in the Dnipro district after a missile strike (…) At present, we are aware of four people killed by this Russian strike”Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Telegram. According to him, this strike “damaged a residential building and a store”.

The regional governor, Serguiï Lyssak, for his part reported that 21 people were injured, eight of whom were “in serious condition”. “They suffer from penetrating injuries, internal organ damage and fractures”he said on Telegram.
The city of Dnipro, which had 970,000 inhabitants before the war, was targeted on November 21 by a launch from the Russian experimental hypersonic missile “Orechnik”. This strike targeted a major military factory, PivdenMach, which notably manufactures components for missiles.
