He emphasized that “the enemy was unable to achieve his objectives“. “We won, because we prevented the enemy from destroying Hezbollah, and from annihilating the Resistance or weakening it”he added.

The head of the organization, who succeeded Hassan Nasrallah, killed on September 27 in an Israeli strike, pledged to cooperate with the Lebanese army, responsible for implementing the agreement. Sponsored by the United States and , the ceasefire agreement provides for the withdrawal within 60 days of the Israeli army from Lebanon.

Israeli army announces airstrike against Hezbollah

The Israeli army announced that it had carried out an airstrike against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. “Recently, terrorist activities and the movement of a mobile rocket launcher were detected in southern Lebanon”explained in a press release the Israeli army which also published on X a video showing an attack on a slowly driving truck.

Israeli soldiers also opened fire Friday on residents of southern Lebanon during a funeral in a border village, according to the Lebanese news agency Ani.

Gaza Civil Defense announces 15 dead in two Israeli strikes

The Civil Defense of the Gaza Strip announced the death of at least 15 people in two strikes in Beit Lahia, in the north of the Palestinian territory, where the Israeli army has been carrying out a major offensive for almost two months.

The homes of the Baba and Ahmed families have been hit in the last 24 hours by Israeli strikes and “we were only able to recover ten bodies”Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Bassal told AFP.
