With more than three million copies sold, there is no doubt that Humankind is a major success, and one that Amplitude Studios does not intend to abandon.
Titled Unitynamed after a Sumerian priestess daughter of the famous Sargon, a new update deployed yesterday brings numerous fixes and gameplay balancing, in line with player requests. In addition to all that, a new scenario allows us to embody the Persians in the delicate transition towards the industrial era, then towards the modern era. Age transitions being the great strength ofHumankindwe can't wait to see what it turns out!
You can find the list of new features brought by Unity below :
- Customizing opponent AI: It is now possible to create personalized personas for AI in the “Personas collection” menu.
- Ambush Improvements:invisible allied forces now stop armies without triggering an ambush, revealing the hidden unit. Ambush battles can no longer be reinforced or bombarded.
- Policy rebalancing:many policies have new effects or unlock conditions, particularly at the level of administration and society.
- Nuclear improvements: Missiles can now be recalled, allowing the player to move missiles from one silo to another to reach their target, making it easier to establish the nuclear program.

Other new game settings: Rhythm settings on the New Game screen now include the following new options:
- Disable the Congress of Humanity,
- Deactivate Vasselage,
- Enable instant army movement (this setting cannot be changed in a current game).
- Cloud save on Games2Gether:If players are logged into Games2Gether in-game, they can now upload their profile and saves to the platform for easy transfer to other platforms.
- A new scenario:players will be able to test their leadership by leading the Persians into the industrial and contemporary eras, despite internal tensions in the industrial uprising scenario. Recommended for beginners and regular players.
Free and available, this update allows us to enjoy a little variety while waiting for the next Humankind DLC. Note also that this is the first content from Amplitude Studios since their recent independence.
