Based in Parnac, M2i Group is revolutionizing agricultural practices thanks to its biological solutions based on pheromones. By combining innovation, respect for the environment and international ambitions, this French SME positions itself as a key player in biocontrol in Europe.

Since 2015, M2i Group has distinguished itself through its expertise in the design and production of pheromones, natural alternatives to conventional pesticides. Based in Parnac, in the former bottling factory of the Vinovalie cooperative, the company has been able to transform this site into a modern production and packaging center. With a team of 40 employees – chemists, agronomists, technicians and operators – M2i develops solutions for environmentally friendly agriculture. The Parnac site, strategically located in the heart of the vineyards and agricultural lands of the Lot, facilitates exchanges with winegrowers and farmers, making it possible to respond precisely to their needs.

Over the years, M2i has expanded its capabilities. A logistics warehouse was opened in Sauzet to manage the increase in exports, while the Lacq (R&D) and Salin de Giraud sites near (production) complete the company's ecosystem. Today, with more than 70 catalog products sold in 60 countries, M2i covers a wide range of crops, from vineyards to green spaces.

Innovations for sustainable solutions

One of M2i's strengths lies in its ability to innovate in response to current agricultural challenges. Among its flagship products: the Lobesia Pro Clip, a biodegradable trellis clip, designed from flax fibers and corn starch, which allows both to raise the vines and to fight against eudemis, a major pest European vineyards. By diffusing pheromones that disrupt insect reproduction, this product eliminates the need for pesticides while simplifying the work of winegrowers. M2i is not limited to crops. The SME is currently working on an innovative project aimed at protecting herds against wolf attacks. This device, based on a territorial pheromone, consists of equipping sheep with collars diffusing an odor simulating that of another wolf. This technology promises to repel predators.

2025 objectives: innovate and develop

To meet growing international demand and remain at the forefront of innovation, M2i has set ambitious objectives for 2025. It plans in particular to accelerate innovation, to the tune of four new products per year, adapted to the needs varied sectors of agriculture, to develop its products in field crops of corn and rice, to further automate its installations, particularly in Parnac, to improve production efficiency, and to strengthen its workforce by recruiting new talents in various fields, chemistry to agronomy. In the Lot, this Lot SME embodies a model of excellence and innovation, showing the way to sustainable and global agriculture.
