Domestic fuel oil prices in France have started an upward curve confirmed on the majority of specialized platforms. It should be noted, however, that this increase could be temporary, given that oil prices remain at relatively low levels.
This Friday, November 29, ordinary fuel oil is exactly 1.119 euros per liter, according to the specialized site Prixfioul.fr. As for the superior, it is sold on average at 1.138 euros per liter. Both for ordinary and superior, the prices displayed this Friday gained five euros for an order of 1,000 liters compared to Thursday.
For its part, the Fioulreduc site displays an average price of 1.112 euros per liter. According to this online comparator, on the other hand, the price has been stable for several days. Finally, on the Fioulmarket site, fuel oil is sold for 1,128 euros on average for a purchase of 1,000 liters. It is on this platform that the increase is the most significant. It amounts to around ten euros compared to Thursday.
Where to find the cheapest domestic fuel oil in France this Friday?
According to the Fioulreduc.fr platform, which compares the prices of domestic fuel oil between regions, it is in Franche-Comté that we find the cheapest price in France today, with 1,081 euros on average for a purchase of 1,000 liters. Conversely, it is in Champagne-Ardenne that the price is the highest, with 1,146 euros for an order of 1,000 liters. For comparison, the difference in prices between Franche-Comté and Champagne-Ardenne amounts to 65 euros for a purchase of 1,000 liters.
It should be noted that this increase in fuel oil prices could be exceptional. For good reason, on the oil markets side, no increase has been noted. On the contrary, for several days, black gold prices have been on a downward trend. According to the specialized site Prixdubaril, Brent from the North Sea is quoted at $72.29 this Friday morning, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is at $68.58 per barrel. Prices almost identical to those recorded on Thursday.
