Mohammed VI Polytechnic University learns about projects from space missions carried out by NASA and ESA during a visit to the Canary Islands Institute of Astrophysics

As part of the program Africa Canarias Challengesupported by the Canary Islands Government, the Canary Islands Institute of Astrophysics (IAC) welcomed a delegation from the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P). This collaboration is intended to deepen the prospects for scientific, technological and innovation interaction between the Canary Islands, Morocco and all African countries.

The Moroccan delegation visited the IAC facilities and its IACTEC technological center, where it got a close look at the scientific projects and international collaborations carried out by the institute, particularly those related to astronomy and advanced technologies for telescopes. terrestrial and space. These projects are among the largest space missions carried out by NASA and ESA.

This meeting demonstrates the ambition of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University to strengthen its links with cutting-edge research institutions while actively contributing to the development of science and technology in Africa.
