Yesterday several videos were posted, anonymously, on Reddit or Vimeo (now inaccessible, but Lambgoat recorded them); we see Tim Lambesis (from As I Lay Dying) having more than disturbing behavior with his wife Dany (now ex-wife); very animated conversations where he hits his own face several times, takes his wife’s head in his hands, turns over a table, etc. In these few extracts we do not see any blows being given; but his behavior remains extreme.

We recall that Tim Lambesis spent several years in prison for attempting to murder his wife at the time; and that the whole of As I Lay Dying, his management and even a member of his other group (Austrian Death Machine) have recently moved away from him. In October Dany (his wife) published a press release to say that Tim had not been violent with her even though the rumor was circulating. She has since reverted to her maiden name.

Tim Lambesis released a statement saying that he has been a victim of abuse from his wife for 3 years, that he filed for divorce this week and also requested a restraining order against his wife for violence. According to this press release, these videos are there to harm him and do not show anything illegal even if his behavior is inappropriate; and he would have proof (also videos) of his wife’s violence to accompany his complaint.
