Gradual return of gas for subscribers in Fougères and Javené (Ille-et-Vilaine) affected by a cut, which occurred on Wednesday November 27 at the start of the day. The incident occurred at the bottom of rue de , in Fougères, during road works carried out by the city of Fougères.

Three hundred and sixty GRDF customers, natural gas subscribers, are affected by this cut: two hundred in Javené, one hundred and sixty in Fougères.

A temporary repair was carried out by GRDF which will proceed throughout the day to gas restoration in every home.

An agent for each subscriber

Each time a GRDF agent will come to check for a presence in the household concerned. “We do not restore the gas without ensuring that the equipment has not been left open by occupants absent from the premises,” locates GRDF.

In case of absence of the occupants of the home during the passage of the GRDF agent, a document is left in the mailbox, with instructions to carry out the manipulation “independently”. Easy to handle.

The document also includes a phone number that it is possible to call if the occupants of the home do not want to carry out this operation alone. Instructions can then be given by telephone, and if necessary a GRDF technician can come again.
