The incident that occurred on Wednesday at train (1) of the Alrar gas processing complex in the wilaya of Illizi, quickly brought under control, had no impact on the overall volume of gas production, the group affirmed. Sonatrach in a press release.
“The incident that occurred on Wednesday at train (1) of the Alrar gas processing complex in the wilaya of Illizi did not impact the overall volume of Sonatrach gas production. Likewise, shipments to domestic and international customers have not experienced any disruptions,” the document reads.
The Mutual Assistance Plan (PAM), an inter-unit aid system of the Company for the management of emergencies and crises, was immediately deployed with efficiency, quickly dispatching reinforcement resources to the Alrar site from of production sites in the In Amenas cluster.
“A team of experts from Sonatrach was dispatched to the site to develop a plan to return to the normal situation,” specifies the same source. “An investigation is underway to determine the causes of this incident,” the press release concluded.
