Cross-country skiing: Léonie Perry, among seniors, and Margot Tirloy, in U20, were the strongest

This Wednesday at the end of the morning, the first direct confrontation games of the 2024/2025 French cross-country ski cup were to take place. Unfortunately, a technical problem with the timing software forced the organization, in Bessans (Savoie), to cancel the U16 and women's final phases to compete in a second qualifying round.

A few hours after the premiere, the numerous cross-country skiers competing therefore set off a second time on the 1.1 km track for a solo runthe final ranking adding the places from the two rounds.

In this context, among the seniors, the Vosges Léonie Perry, already winner at the very beginning of the day, confirmed her superiority and won brilliantly. Clémence Didierlaurent et Julie Pierreltwice his runners-up in this order, complete the day's podium. Among the U20s, Margot Tirloywinner of both rounds, won without any possible dispute.

In U18, it is the Savoyard biathlete Adeline Debuyser, second then first, who won the victory in front Lucile Coutaz et Anouchka Neuville. Among the U16s, Lison Brouart is the big female winner of the day after two successes while Raphaël Marrel did the same on the men's side.
