Change of location and dates: the Dunois Telethon is undergoing changes this year. But for coordinator Pascal Michelet, there is room to do better than last year, with more than 16,000 euros in donations.
The Dunois Telethon takes place for the first time in the Kellermann garden in Châteaudun, Friday and Saturday. Why this change?
Quite simply because the configuration of the site allows us to set up the 24-hour walking challenge. We could have organized it on the Place du 18-Octobre, but with the traffic, it would have been much too dangerous for my taste. In addition, Kellermann is home to participating associations, including the Dunois Billiard Club Academy which will also carry out a 24-hour challenge, as well as Dunois Loisirs and we will have access to other rooms. Too eccentric in recent years at the Léo-Lagrange room, 2ACD will be able to hold its sale of books by the kilo there, in a warm place. Kellermann is a larger place, harder to furnish than those used previously, but it has the advantage of being ideally located in the heart of the city, which is not worse.
