Castrense took advantage of defeats by Praia Milfontes and Aljustrelense this Sunday to take sole control at the top of the Beja District First Division, posting a two-point lead over Vasco da Gama de Vidigueira and Aldenovense after the sixth round.
In the match at Castro Verde, the home team triumphed over Messejanense with a score of 2-1, a match decided in injury time. Natã Marciano opened the scoring for the hosts in the 11th minute, but Dedé equalized for Messejanense in the 51st minute. Guilherme Carrijo gave Castrense the victory with a late goal in the 90+3 minute.
Vasco da Gama also completed a 2-0 win over Aljustrelense, thanks to goals from Jorge Raposo and Daniel Andrade, propelling them above their opponents in the standings.
For their part, Aldenovense also secured a 2-1 victory over Praia Milfontes in Vila Nova de São Bento, with goals from Nuno Rodrigues and Lucas Rosa, while Danny scored for the visitors.

Castrense currently find themselves top of the table with 15 points, followed by Vasco da Gama and Aldenovense, both on 13 points, while Praia Milfontes and Aljustrelense are close on 12 points.
Further down the table are Renascente and Ferreirense, each on 10 points after securing victories on the matchday. Renascente beat Sporting de Cuba at home 2-1, while the Ferreira do Alentejo team won against Almodôvar with a score of 3-2.
The sixth round was also marked by the first victory of Penedo Gordo, who, after five consecutive defeats, beat Despertar at home 3-2.
At the bottom of the table are Messejanense and Almodôvar, both with six points, alongside Sporting de Cuba, Penedo Gordo and Despertar, each with three points.
The prochain tour, program for the 1st December, includes matches Despertar-Aljustrelense, Vasco da Gama-Almodôvar, Sporting de Cuba-Ferreirense, Messejanense-Penedo Gordo, Praia Milfontes-Castrense, and Renascente-Aldenovense.
