A massacre

The last act of Arcane which was broadcast last Saturday on Netflix was very dense. Spectators witnessed the tear between two cities, two camps: Piltover (the upper city) and the Zaun district (in the depths). Ekko and Jayce returned to their true reality to save their loved ones. Please note, the rest of this article covers the entire events that took place in the conclusion of the series.

As for the “villainous” characters, several were defeated, such as the traitor Maddie and Ambessa. The latter succumbs in the confrontation she leads against Caitlyn and her daughter, Mel. Christian Linke and Alex Yee, the directors did not hesitate to remove other emblematic characters such as Heimerdinger, Isha, Vander and… Jinx. The heroine had tried to save Vi from Warwick’s attack (from which Vander’s soul had disappeared). When the monster grabs Jinx, it drags her down towards the depths of the Hexgate. That said, it seems that there remains hope for the protagonist, some clues prove that she might in fact still be alive.

Big names have fallen

It’s 100% confirmed, she’s still alive – A user, on Reddit.

Already, a reply alerts the viewer to the presumed death of Jinx. Before falling, Jinx tells her sister that she will always be there for her. Before she crashes with the monster, we see in an image pink smokecharacteristic of a dash. A move she could have made to escape into an air vent. Second clue that supports this hypothesis : Caitlyn consults the plans of the Hexgate structure, probably because she also thinks that Jinx is hiding there. Also, the peacekeeper looks with perplexity at the monkey’s head that Jinx usually makes on her bombs. Finally, in one of the last scenes, we see a ship take off similar to the one that made Powder say in season 1: “one day, I will pilot something like that”.

Why won’t there be more seasons? Act two is great, however (…) there are plenty of other stories to tell – Marc Merrill, the co-founder of Riot Games.

These are suspicions about the disappearance of the heroine which could well remain so since Riot seems to have the intention of going beyond the duo VI Jinx, for its next audio-visual productions, in order to approach other characters, such as the family of Mel and his links with the Black Rose.
