Alan Wake 2 is one of the games that will receive an improved version for the PlayStation 5 Pro. Although the game received an update on November 26, it does not apply to the Pro version of the console.
Here's what we know
The game has been updated with bug fixes and collectibles from The Lake House DLC have been added to the Saga Spirit Plaza when the DLC is played as part of the main campaign.
Additionally, access to the Night Springs DLC is available in the Writers' Room after completing any DLC chapter as part of the main campaign.
Gyroscopic control and joystick interaction have also been improved. The full list of updates is available at this link.
Although a patch fixing shadows was released for the Pro version, the game did not receive a full update for that console. First of all, the game has visual bug issues.
Remedy notes that it sees all the feedback from players, but the team is still researching some things to improve performance on Pro. And since PS5 Pro support has been in place for many months, the team will need more than a few weeks to make changes and improvements.
