He is one of the most anticipated people at this hearing. This Tuesday morning, Zohra*, born in May 2007 in , must be heard by the Paris Special Assize Court at the trial for the assassination of Samuel Paty.

This former student of the d'Aulne college is at the origin of the controversy over the course given in October 2020 by the professor of history geography on freedom of expression and freedom of the press during which he had shown caricatures of the prophet Mohammed taken from the newspaper Charlie Hebdo.

Excluded from class that day

Brahim Chnina files a complaint against Samuel Paty for disseminating pornographic images. And he spoke by telephone with the assassin Abdoullakh Anzorov, informed of the controversy targeting the teacher via one of his videos.

On October 13, 2020, Samuel Paty filed a defamation complaint in return. Three days later, on October 16, 2020, he was assassinated near the college where he taught.
