Bryce Young gains respect in Panthers locker room

Despite a defeat against the Chiefs, Bryce Young had a very good performance in this week 12 of the NFL.

Bryce Young’s Panthers continue to perform, even if this week, it’s a cruel defeat that comes to Carolina. Trailing 27-16 entering the final quarter, Bryce Young led two drives allowing the Panthers to come back to Kansas City with less than two minutes to play.

Despite this, Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs managed to finish the job in the remaining two minutes to finally win their tenth game of the season, with a score of 30-27.

The 23-year-old quarterback’s teammates came to encourage him after a great performance from the man who was put on the bench earlier in the season, before regaining his place because of Andy Dalton’s road accident.

“I think he earned his respect when you play the field and prepare the right way,” franchise catcher Adam Thielen said. “You start to gain the respect of your teammates and you feel like you can have these conversations. »

Either way, Bryce Young’s second year at North Carolina is heading into a year of learning and improvement for someone who was seen as a bust a few months ago. The number one in the 2023 draft will have to continue, week after week, to show what he does best in order to gain the trust of his entire team.
