The ultra-popular 2,000-euro Christmas tree on TikTok is half price

These artificial trees are creating a sensation on social networks, despite prices of up to 2,900 euros. Luckily, the brand is doing exceptional promotions with models at half price.

The phenomenon started unexpectedly on TikTok. Thousands of users share their “unboxing” videos of a famous tree brand, generating millions of views. The hashtag #balsamhill has more than 50 million views, an impressive figure for plastic trees whose prices quickly exceed 1,200 euros.

“I could have bought a luxury bag, but I preferred to buy an artificial tree,” quips a content creator on the social network. This viral success is striking, especially since the artificial tree market is traditionally dominated by entry-level products. So why is everyone fighting over it?

The answer lies in the seemingly unique characteristics of these fir trees. One of the flagship models at 1,999 euros, the Fraser, measures 2.74 meters and has more than 2,000 articulated branches, using an innovative blend of polyethylene (PE) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The PE branches, individually molded, faithfully reproduce the appearance of natural needles, while the PVC branches ensure interior volume according to the company.

The attention to detail goes further: each tree comes with assembly gloves, dedicated storage bags, and even replacement bulbs for the pre-lit models. The numbered section assembly system greatly simplifies installation, a point regularly highlighted in online reviews. Installing your Christmas tree becomes a real ceremony, and it’s fascinating.

The famous brand, Balsam Hill, offers different sizes of trees, ranging from 1.70m to 3.60m. The entry level starts at 169 euros for Canadian Blue Spruce. Prices vary across multiple designs with several lighting options, including the innovative Twinkly LED lights allowing customization via smartphone. For some, even all these elements struggle to explain the craze for plastic trees. In the meantime, TikTok users have made no mistake: a Balsam Hill tree is now much more than a simple Christmas decoration – it has become a real object of desire and a symbol of social status, particularly popular with creators of content. Now at your fingertips…

Indeed, good news for those who would have been seduced by these luxury trees: the brand is currently offering exceptional promotions with reductions of up to -50% on a wide selection of models. The 2.29m Norway Spruce artificial tree, normally sold for 1,499 euros, is for example priced at 679 euros, free delivery included. It’s hard not to be tempted. But be careful, several models are already out of stock! In addition, new subscribers to the newsletter benefit from a 30 euro reduction on any order over 500 euros.

This bold commercial strategy, combined with the quality of the products, explains the explosion of sales and the current buzz. Will you succumb?
