Gymnastics. Kaylia Nemour: “This gold medal in has a special taste”

After walking on the moon, Kaylia Nemour gradually comes back to earth. Olympic champion on the uneven bars during the 2024 Games on August 4, the gymnast received Ouest- almost four months after her coronation. “The difference is that I have a few extras outside of the gym: I go on photo shoots, I go on , I'm invited to events… But I've always dreamed of being around this world- there, that is to say the world of fashion, beauty, lifestyle, I love it”, breathes Kaylia Nemour, recently invited to Fashion Week by Lacoste, to a PSG match or even, at the beginning of November, to a ceremony in the United Arab Emirates, where she received the prize for best Arab athlete of the year.

This enchanted parenthesis in the City of Lights is not “just one step” for Kaylia Nemour. The Algerian has gently relaunched into a new four-year cycle with the final destination being the Los Angeles Olympic Games in 2028. “I can't go all the way back there, it's normal that I go back down. I need not to think about the competition, I need to free myself mentally, while continuing to train hard and having fun,” concludes Kaylia Nemour, who after four and a half weeks of break, resumed smoothly at the Swiss Cup and at the Arthur Gander Memorial, before returning, on November 30, to the Top 12, where all her appearances will be eagerly awaited.
