Le Serment bar opened its doors on Wednesday November 13. An establishment that aims to be warm and located in the heart of the city.
Since Wednesday November 13, epicurean Périgourdins can go to a new address located in the heart of Périgueux: Le Serment. Halfway between rue Limogeanne and the Place de l'Ancien Hôtel de Ville, this establishment is managed by Richard Philippon. The bar offers you, in addition to its range of drinks, a quick bite to eat with local products: homemade foie gras, soups that change every day or a “real” buttered ham. “Since the opening, the feedback has been very positive,” says Sandrine, who works alongside Richard. We are told that it is a warm place where you feel at home. »
Work before opening
It must be said that the duo can count on their regulars who have followed them from their previous seasonal bar located on Place Saint-Silain. “Today, there is no longer a bar where you arrive at the counter alone and leave in groups. This is the kind of spirit we seek to offer. »
The project to open Le Serment began more than a year ago when Richard Philippon passed by the premises. “I was looking for something in a good location and found it to be the perfect place to open a bar. » With the help of the previous tenant, who facilitated the arrival of the duo in the premises, the Serment team was able to settle in and begin a phase of work which lasted several months. Today, the establishment can accommodate around thirty people in a brand new interior, not counting the terrace which is located on a pedestrian axis.
Le Serment, 9 rue du Serment in Périgueux. Open afternoons from Tuesday to Sunday.
