the Japanese invented the “washing machine for humans”!

Here is a very curious device, which resembles the cockpit of a flying car. However, it is not a vehicle, but rather a “washing machine for humans”. Inspired by a similar machine presented at the 1970 World's Fair in Japan, this funny bathtubbathtub will be present at Expo 2025 which will take place in Osaka.

The device was designed by Science Co., a Japanese company specializing in shower heads. It partially fills with hot water when a person sits inside. Of the sensorssensors integrated into the seat measure the pulsepulse et « other biometric data » to ensure the water is at the correct temperature.

A quarter of an hour for a complete cycle!

The tub also contains artificial intelligence that determines whether the user is calm or agitated, and “ projects images onto the inside of the transparent wall to help the person feel invigorated “. A complete cycle, washing and drying, takes a quarter of an hour. The manufacturer has not yet given details on how the washing cycle works, but the futuristic bathtub could be based on technology similar to that of 1970. Called the “ultrasonic bathtub”, it used ultrasoundultrasound to create microbubbles in the water, and released beads in plasticplastic to massage the body.

Science Co. hopes to market a consumer version of its bathtub, and says it is 70 percent ready. In the meantime, up to seven or eight visitors will be able to test it every day during the 2025 Universal Exhibition, from April 13 to October 13, 2025, provided they reserve their slot in advance.
