UPDATE 5:15 p.m. A 77-year-old man allegedly fired fatal shots at a sixty-year-old in the middle of a McDonald's restaurant in Paris.
Strange case that the police officers of the second district of the Paris judicial police have been investigating since this afternoon. It was at this time, this Friday, November 22, that a man aged around 70 was shot and killed in a McDonald's on Boulevard Ornano located near Porte de Clignancourt in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, according to information from Le Parisien.
Our colleagues specified that the shooter was equipped with “a large caliber revolver” and that he would have hit his victim “in the chest and head”. Despite everything, the sixty-year-old did not die instantly but a few minutes later, as a result of his injuries after being taken care of by the emergency services.
The alleged perpetrator of the shots was arrested without resistance. He was waiting for police officers on site and his arrest took place peacefully.
According to RMC Info, the two men are of French nationality and the motive could be based on a financial dispute between the two men, of the order of several thousand euros. The victim lived in Seine-et-Marne while the shooter, aged 77, lives in Sarthe.
