Winnipeg Sea Bears captain Chad Posthumus dies of ruptured aneurysm

Chad Posthumus, captain of the Winnipeg Sea Bears, died a little less than two weeks after suffering a ruptured brain aneurysm during practice, according to the sports organization.

On November 9, the Sea Bears announced that the forward had been admitted to hospital in stable condition.

The 2.10 meter forward was the first in Sea Bears history to sign with the franchise following its admission to the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CBLE) in 2023.
