Gran Turismo 7: PS5 Pro support and other new features added with update 1.54 from November 2024

After a not really crazy October update for Gran Turismo 7, that of November which has just been published this Thursday morning is already a little more convincing, while remaining classic with the addition of five vehicles (including one Jimny similar to that which was already included), events and other now usual elements. In short, nothing to match the patch SPEC II from last year. However, if the size of this version 1.54, even on a basic PS5, seems enormous to you (32,071 GB), it is due to the fact that Compatibility with PS5 Pro has been added. Legendary cars

• Prices of legendary cars (Hagerty Collection) have been updated based on their actual valuation by Gran Turismo partner Hagerty. Hagerty offers appraisals and insurance for historic automobiles, and has also sponsored various historic automobile events in recent years. The new prices will take effect the next time a vehicle goes on sale. The next price review is scheduled for March 2025.

World Tours

• The difficulty level of the following racing event has been adjusted: Fuji Speedway – Super Formula.

Physics simulator

• An issue has been fixed on some hybrid cars where, if running out of fuel while driving, the car would not regenerate power when the accelerator was released.

GT Auto

• Fixed an issue in the Livery Editor, Car Customization, where changing and saving a headlight or tire sticker prevented reverting to the original livery.
• The following stickers with duplicate shapes compared to the predefined Livery Editor stickers have been removed (currently used stickers will not be impacted):
  • Form 1: 01-60;
  • Form 2: 02-15 / 02-25 / 02-60 / 02-77.

Audio

• Fixed an issue where background music was not played in surround sound when outputting Dolby Atmos through an AV amplifier.

Localisation

• Various localization issues have been fixed.

Others

• Various other issues have been fixed.
