Pom’s d’Or between emotion and humor in Ellignies-Sainte-Anne

Eric Lenz specifies that if emotion is very present in the films and around them, it is also humor that shines through in many productions. “The quality of productions also evolves thanks to the evolution of techniques which allows institutions to produce projects with sometimes low resources. It’s important to allow access to everyone.”

Among the subjects covered, we find discrimination, either racial or against people with disabilities, as well as sexual orientation.

“The jury was also top-notch, notably with Félix Van Groeningen, Belgian director and jury prize winner at for his film The Eight Mountains in 2022, also nominated in the Best Foreign Film category at the Oscars in 2013 for Alabama Monroe,” says Eric Lenz.
