The Russian Foreign Ministry has admitted that a Polish air defense base is on Moscow's list of potential targets. “Given the nature and level of threats posed by these Western military installations, missile defense in Poland has long been added to the list of priority targets for potential destruction which, if necessary, can be executed with a wide range of “state-of-the-art weapons,” Maria Zakharova said during a press briefing on Thursday, as reported by CNN. This information, given a few hours after the announcement of a possible intercontinental missile launch by Russia, worries Westerners. The comments, however, echo a real verbal escalation started by the Russians at the start of the week.
