Not many people expected Jacques among the five finalists of this Koh-Lanta, the cursed tribe. He himself would not have bet a piece of cassava on his chances when he landed on the Philippine archipelago with the 23 other castaways. However, the 38-year-old dancer discovered the soul of an adventurerin addition to having been lucky to fall into the right team, as the Sapitang were ruthless with their red rivals, placing four out of five members among the contenders for the final victory.

“When you know where I come from”, Jacques himself surprised by his journey in Koh-Lanta

The dreaded orientation test, which will be broadcast in the episode of November 26, 2024, will decide between Jacques, Ilyesse, Thibault, Charlotte and Cécile for the first time. In the wake of this dagger hunt, the always sunny Royannais took stock of his adventure after 39 days of survival on his Instagram account. A necessarily positive assessment given its profile not designed for survival in a hostile environment. “When you know where I come from, that I was originally afraid of the sea, the forest, insects. That physically I am very weakened because of all the operations I have undergone”is still surprised by someone who used a mental coach to prepare to face their phobias.

“What an incredible journey”, Jacques proud of his exploits as an adventurer

A good comrade, Jacques also brought his added value to the camp, managing to surprise himself. “What an incredible journey! I brought back more than seven plants of cassava. It's huge. I went fishing. I gained comforts. I won a test, that of the star. I'm so proud of myself.”he enthused in this video in which he takes stock of his exploits. He owes a debt of gratitude to his roommates, and in particular to Ugo, “the greatest adventurer of all time”, whom he chose to oust at the gates of the final “to hope to win”. Will this reluctant decision be enough to reach the legendary poles? In any case, it is one of our favorites.
