Dead man on the beach : What is the fiction about with Claire Chazal and Claire Borotra broadcast this Thursday, November 21, 2024?
Claire Borotra plays, in this unit, Eloïse Gentil, captain of the Caen research section. The latter, at odds for more than twenty years with her father Robert (the one and only Michel Jonasz), historian and specialist in the Second World War, will find him around an investigation into the death of James Crawley, 91 years old. He was found dead, dressed in his GI uniform. The macabre scene seems to mean that Crawley, tied to a post, was shot “for example”… as were soldiers during the conflict of 14-18.
The Dead of the Beach: Should we watch the fiction with Claire Chazal and Claire Borotra broadcast this Thursday, November 21, 2024? Our opinion
Previously titled Omaha Beach MurdersThe Dead of the Beach is in the worthy lineage of the fictions of the successful France 3 collection, notably with a gripping storyline, rich in twists and turns and false leads. Above all, it relies on a credible casting, notably the former television news presenter, Claire Chazal, who not only does not deserve anything, but even stands out in the game. The plot is admirably woven around the Landing during World War II, which makes it all the more fascinating.
